TopMan’s Japanese Hand Planes are made using traditional methods of craftsmanship bringing you closer to this beautiful craft.

The body’s of these planes are made from durable white oak wood with modern blades replacing the old style blades. TopMan decided to replace the old blades with modern blades to give you more freedom when purchasing blades.

Please bear in mind that every Japanese plane works on the pull stroke and in order to achieve the finest of cuts you need to practice thoroughly.
