Spirit Sanding Sealer 250ml
Spirit Sanding Sealer quickly prepares the surface of bare or stripped wood and MDF used for furniture and decorative items prior to wax finishing. It seals the surface so that less wax is needed and its special lubricants ease sanding. It is ideal for use on turned woodwork.

HOW TO USE

Preparation

Ensure surfaces are bare, dry and free from dust. If you want to colour the wood apply Palette Wood Dye before the sealer. Application Shake well before use. Brush on a thin coat of sealer, allow to dry for at least 30 minutes and sand very thoroughly with 240 or 320 grit abrasive paper. Apply a second coat if required and re-sand after a minimum of one hour. Apply Wax Polish Black Bison Paste using Ultra Fine Steel Wool (Grade 0000) to finish.

Precautions

For table tops, shelves and other surfaces that require a more durable finish, we recommend the use of oils or varnish.

Important

Always test the product first on a spare or inconspicuous area for colour, compatibility and end result. Spirit Sanding Sealer is recommended for wax finishing only.
